Our client, a vertically integrated cannabis company in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Wholesale Marketing Manager to execute all aspects of their wholesale marketing plan, including campaigns, sales materials, events, and more. This role will work directly with the Marketing Director and
VP of Sales across multiple different highly regulated cannabis markets.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the Marketing Director and VP of Sales to create 360 wholesale marketing strategy for PharmaCann vertically integrated states
• Accountable for managing and executing marketing tasks related to the wholesale strategy
• Support and execute a comprehensive and creative wholesale campaign calendar
• Partner with merchandising team and wholesale team on identifying and executing promotional opportunities to drive market share, mind share, and wallet share
• Identify and produce a range of engaging content including online, print, in-store, customer successes, PR, and others to brand standards
• Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
• Work cross-functionally to measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insights, and assess against goals
• Prepare monthly reports on our wholesale marketing campaign performance (KPI’s, learnings, sales)
• Lead the development and execution of virtual and local live event marketing programs
• Potential management of external agencies and service providers
• Manage a defined wholesale marketing budget.
• Manage 3P Swag Vendor with assistance of Marketing Project Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in marketing, advertising, communications, business or related field/equivalent experience preferred
• 3-5 years marketing experience (retail or wholesale marketing experience preferred)
• Strategic and creative thinker who can proactively problem solve and contribute solutions with precision with deep understanding of the marketing ecosystem
• Proven track record of implementing marketing campaigns that drive customer growth and brand awareness
• Ability to keep up with a high-performing team
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, highly regulated, and evolving industry
• Ability to create concepts and see them through execution
• Highly effective organizational, collaborative, and consultative skills
• Strong problem-solving ability, organizational and time-management
• Cannabis experience not required but preferred
 
COMPENSATION: $100,000 – 115,000
