Our client, a California based vertically integrated cannabis operator, is seeking a Sales Manager of bulk sales. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building a process oriented bulk business, primarily using the excess flower from the cultivation and distributing to cannabis farms and manufacturers throughout the state of California.  Reporting to the VP of Ops, this role will work closely with cultivation, packaging and distribution teams to develop and implement B2B strategy with bulk flower.


  • Identifying and contacting potential business partners, vendors, and suppliers
  • Seeking and managing bulk orders and purchases
  • Establishing new and existing long-term business relationships
  • Manage showroom scheduling and viewings
  • Coordinate daily menus of bulk flower on website
  • Maintain dynamic pricing models based on quality and potency
  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions with business partners and vendors
  • Developing and achieving sales objectives
  • Reviewing sales figures and performances
  • Analyzing and developing strategies to maximize sales


  • Bachelor’s degree in management, supply chain, or related field required
  • At least 3 years of field bulk sales experience
  • Experience building and managing a successful bulk sales program
  • Friendly positive attitude interacting with multiple departments
  • Effectively manage P&L
  • Solid relationships in California cannabis
  • History of setting and driving strategic sales initiatives in a start-up, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with distributor management and contract/vendor negotiation
  • Strong negotiation skills while being engaging and persuasive
  • Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner with limited direction
  • Spanish speaking a plus
  • The ability to travel up to 60%

Compensation: $80-90K DOE plus commission and benefits
