Our client, a leading cannabis manufacturing company based in St Louis, is seeking a Sales Analyst responsible for the company's business initiatives related to the sales, inventory, and operations departments.
The Sales Analyst will track and compile data gathered from multiple sources for cultivation, harvesting, packaging supplies, and finished goods for multiple SKUs, for sales and other internal departments, requiring expert level Excel skills and experience. (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros etc)
Job Description and Responsibilities

Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking on sales, inventory, and packaging supplies.

Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.

Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate data on Inventory and Packaging to Sales, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing

Support, develop, and manage procedures, workflows, and business documentation

Demonstrable capability to communicate effectively across a diverse range of teams
Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Very high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including high-volume data analysis, pivot tables and charts, visual assets and dashboards

Strong analytical and data-gathering skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively communicate well with all levels of the organization

3-5+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, procurement, warehousing and inventory planning is preferred

Confidence and presence to command the respect of colleagues and other stakeholders
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 plus benefits
