Our client a cannabis cultivator and wholesaler is seeking a Territory Sales Manager in Detroit, Michigan.

The Territory Sales Manager will call on customers and potential customers and travel to customer sites to conduct product demos. Must be a go-getter and self-driven.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish new sales model, territories, accounts and service existing relationships, manage promotional activities and events, educate buyers within the assigned territory.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients through consistent and frequent communication
  • Continue to improve sales strategies based on market research and competitor analysis
  • Report on individual and territorial sales results for both product sales (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
  • Continue to improve sales strategies based on market research and competitor analysis
  • Educate clients and attend trade shows to conduct product demonstrations
  • Manage and oversee our top accounts
  • Generate potential leads for future sales
  • Set and exceed quota
  • Track and report sales in organized manner
  • Communicate effectively with other members of team

Education & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of B2B sales experience
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management software
  • Ability to travel 60-70% throughout the Detroit, Michigan territory

Compensation: $60,000 – 65,000 plus commission plus full benefits and retirement package
