Our client, a leading manufacturer in the cannabis industry, is looking for an Accountant to manage the treasury function for their operations. This Accountant will work closely with their operations team to manage purchase orders and help with short term cash planning. Other responsibilities include journal entries, account reconciliations and providing analytics for management and support FP&A efforts.

- Purchase order creation, changes, reviews and release
- Month end close process assistance, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare the supporting documents for the monthly consolidated balance sheet and income statement
- Analyze financial statements and prepare variance reports
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP
- Assist with external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Previous experience with QuickBooks Enterprise
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Cannabis industry experience a plus
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Public accounting experience a plus
Compensation: $70-75K base salary, plus unlimited PTO and health benefits
