Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking for your next contract opportunity? CannabizTemp is seeking a talented individual to join our client’s team remotely for a critical 4-6 week assignment. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough account analysis and reconciliations to rectify discrepancies.
- Address urgent banking requirements to streamline financial operations.
- Collaborate with the existing team to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer.
- Assist in cleaning up cash accounts and recording missing transactions.
- Provide support in generating sales invoices using Distru software and integrating them into MS Dynamics 365.
- Perform various accounting duties, including but not limited to, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
Additional Information: This is a remote position with flexible hours, preferably 9am-5pm, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere on the West Coast. The contract will run for 4-6 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
Compensation: $40-45 per hour
