 As the Vice President of Wholesale, you will be responsible for driving the wholesale strategy and managing all aspects of wholesale operations. Reporting directly to the EVP of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our wholesale footprint, forging strategic partnerships, and maximizing revenue opportunities in the cannabis wholesale market. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of wholesale dynamics, strong industry relationships, and a track record of success in driving growth and profitability. 

Job Roles and Responsibilities
 1. Develop and execute the wholesale strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives, including revenue targets, market expansion, and product positioning. 
2. Identify and prioritize key wholesale opportunities, markets, and channels for growth, leveraging market research, industry trends, and competitive analysis. 
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders in the cannabis industry. 4. Lead the wholesale sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance, achieve sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service. 
5. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including cultivation, processing, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of wholesale initiatives. 
6. Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with wholesale partners, ensuring alignment with company policies, pricing strategies, and quality standards. 
7. Monitor and analyze wholesale sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
8. Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive demand for wholesale products. 
9. Stay informed about regulatory developments and compliance requirements impacting wholesale operations, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations. 
10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, networking with key stakeholders and promoting our brand and products. 

Required/Preferred Qualifications:
 • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 
• 8+ years of experience in wholesale sales, business development, or related roles, preferably within the cannabis industry. 
• Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading high-performing teams. 
• Deep understanding of wholesale dynamics, market trends, and regulatory environment in the cannabis industry. 
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. 
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvement. 
• Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs. 
• Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to driving positive change through responsible business practices.
