Ashland is an 8+ year cannabis industry veteran who held multiple positions: budtender, lead, management, Purchasing Manager, and General Manager–all within the last 6 years.
As an Operations Specialist for a cannabis company, Ashland organized and created SOPs for the back of the house that was used for all of their locations.
- This led to additional store management duties, as well as a new expanded position.
Ashland exceeded KPIs in every department, which helped the staff and the company reach daily, weekly, and yearly goals.
As the Purchasing Manager for another cannabis business, Ashland created slot agreements with selected brands that helped them and the brands reach monthly sales goals, which alleviated over 90% of their daily discounts.
Ashland has experience as a Store Supervisor & GM–some of his duties included managing 20-25 employees and making sure staff and the company’s compliance needs and relationships stayed strong.
During his time with another cannabis business in 2022 as a General Manager & Purchaser, Ashland managed 10-15 employees.
- He brought in the strongest brands & employees and had the company’s biggest grand opening out of their 15 other locations.
- He sustained that growth and successfully managed and attained their goal of over $1 million in their first year.
