Carmy is a seasoned marketing executive with 20+ years of experience building teams and managing strategic initiatives for high-growth companies.
He has developed an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of marketing, including brand positioning, consumer insights, social media, partnerships, influencer engagement, and digital and traditional marketing channels.
In addition to graduating from Harvard, he also has a second degree in fashion from Parsons School of Design, giving him the flexibility to toggle effortlessly between the left and right sides of the brain.
Carmy oversaw 5x topline growth in under 18 months in his most recent role as Chief Marketing Officer at an ancillary cannabis business by tapping into the power of the 420 community.
He directed all marketing and sales strategy, product development, e-commerce build-out, and brand and digital marketing.
He also managed the $10M P&L for the department across the US, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, and Spain.
Carmy’s career started in brand strategy for some household name companies.
He then spent several years launching new divisions at premier clothing brands.
Carmy spent 10 years in the early-stage e-commerce space at a variety of companies focusing on building community and virality while maintaining brand equity and championing the voice of the customer.
