In his most recent position as Senior VP of Operations of a cannabis business, Garett was responsible for the development of the Annual Corporate Strategy.

- This included the Quarterly corporate KPI Matrix, Product Development plan, annual/quarterly budgeting and financial performance, COGS analysis and Risk management.
- He was directly responsible for fiscal and operational management of 9 departments from seed to sale, including Cultivation, Nursery, Breeding, Plant Health, Extraction, Refinement/Processing, Warehousing, Distribution/Packaging, and the administrative group.

Garett also worked as the Director of Operations with a publicly traded cannabis MSO.

- He had operational responsibility for their flagship 9-acre cultivation facility where he oversaw 60+ employees, including cultivation, compliance, engineering, processing, maintenance, security, public relations, supply chain, HR, and safety staff members.
- He also had oversight and administration of the mandated track and trace program (METRC), ensuring compliance for numerous cultivation and distribution licenses.

Prior to cannabis, Garett worked as a Management Consultant with Strategic Business Development.
