Harlan is an experienced VP of Strategic Initiatives and National Director of Business Development.
He holds a BA, 2 Master’s Degrees, and a Ph.D.
Harlan was also the Policy Advisor and Campaign Manager for a former state senator.
While in graduate school, Harlan successfully received one of the first recreational cannabis cultivation licenses issued by a Pacific Northwest state.
As a VP of Strategic Initiatives, Harlan managed 6 dispensaries, led product development and strategic sales efforts, and worked directly with the CEO to grow the company by acquiring new brands in new markets and enhancing their established brands.
The cannabis company reported third-quarter record gross sales of US $12.4M and net sales of US $10.6M.
As Director of Operations for a cannabis company, Harlan created KPIs for all of the department directors.
He created wholesale distribution strategies for the sales team and managed the cultivators and processors.
He also directed their retail employees–he managed everything from seed to sale for 10 licensed companies (4 cultivation, 1 edibles kitchen, 1 extraction lab, 1 wholesale, and 3 retail).
Harlan helped another cannabis company become the #1 flower brand and the #6 overall cannabis company in its state.
He was responsible for production planning and sales forecasting.
