As VP of Innovation and Senior Buyer for a leading California retailer, she built and implemented a revenue driving strategy for all retail stores, encompassing all product and inventory needs from assortment to product launches, brand partnerships, initiatives, collaboration on the development of key marketing campaigns, data tracking and analysis, and managing the development of a line of branded products from end-to-end process.
As an expert in consumer and market trends and product curation, Katelyn was key to driving the vision and integrated strategy for identifying new avenues of customer awareness and conversion through NPLs, exclusive brand partnerships and co-branded SKUs from national market leading brands.
She successfully increased annual revenue 10x in 3 years while opening 5 new stores (over 150+ employees) and tripling store count.
Katelyn is a data-driven strategist, building, tracking and analyzing inventory and sales KPIs, including sales velocity, inventory turn, WSOH, gross margin by product and COGS, and developing best practices and efficiencies for all purchasing decisions.
