She manages a team of 2 HR specialists, 1 payroll and benefits specialist, and 1 engagement/trainer.
Nikki was formerly the Director of People and Culture at a publicly-traded cannabis company–she is currently managing Human Resources for dispensaries in 10 locations across 6 states, in 2 recreational markets.
She is a hands-on HR leader, managing employee engagement, organizational design, M&A, employee relations, policy design, benefits, compensation and payroll, and additional HR functions for a scaling company with 500+ employees.
Before entering cannabis, Nikki drove HR initiatives for a startup, growing from 30 employees to 1,000+ employees.
She navigated the people side of becoming publicly traded, acquiring 8 companies in less than 7 years, and completing one successful merger, resulting in the sale of the business.
Nikki approaches all HR challenges from a fiscally responsible perspective for long-term success while investing in people and building culture.
She believes companies should run “lean” and works with the leadership teams to make strategic decisions on where payroll expenses can be cut.
