He was responsible for US Manufacturing Operations in the Hemp/CBD market sector–his CPG portfolio included big cannabis brands, including celebrity-backed products.
During his time in cannabis, Wilfred successfully led plant and equipment commissioning at facilities during the depth of COVID restrictions.
He also maintained production output amid changes in the evolving restrictions and actively right-sized operations in response to various elements of volatility (supply chain, early-stage markets, and COVID).
Wilfred implemented warehousing and supply chain strategies to support complex distribution agreements with multiple key customers and sectors.
He was the US representative on the corporate COVID response committee.
He also led efforts to support US operations while the US-Canada border remained closed and regional restrictions evolved.
