Our client, a premier cannabis producer and brand based in Southern California, is seeking a Bulk Sales Manager to oversee and drive the sales of bulk flower from their cultivation facilities near Los Angeles. This role involves close collaboration with company executives and the cultivation and distribution teams to formulate and execute a B2B strategy for bulk flower sales, encompassing pricing, client management, deal closure, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, generate leads, and close bulk flower sales through in-person appointments to establish strong and lasting distribution channels.
- Make cold calls to generate leads and conduct daily sales activities and submit daily end-of-day emails, call logs, notes, and proof of sales visits/appointments.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers by executing email marketing campaigns and follow-ups to ensure top-tier customer service.
- Create and maintain a CRM system to enhance overall sales goals and track marketing and sales interactions.
- Provide feedback on market trends, pricing, and strain selection to stay ahead of market changes and assist with internal marketing efforts to boost sales.
- Identify and contact potential business partners, vendors, and suppliers in an effort to establish and nurture long-term business relationships.
- Maintain dynamic pricing models based on quality and potency and negotiate contract terms and conditions with business partners and vendors.
- Develop and achieve sales objectives and review sales figures and performance to maximize sales.
Requirements:
- Must live within the Los Angeles Metropolitan area.
- Ability to travel throughout the Southern California area as necessary for client visits.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of bulk sales experience with a proven track record of closing sales and moving product.
- Established book of business and solid relationships in the Southern California cannabis industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Experience in driving strategic sales initiatives in a start-up, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in distributor management and contract/vendor negotiations.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to be engaging and persuasive.
- Highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 Salary plus commission
