Currently, Ansel is responsible for all sales and marketing initiatives for a multi-state cannabis company, including 2 award-winning legacy cannabis brand acquisitions and 7 proprietary brands in 2 states–he is responsible for bringing all brands to market and their P&L.
He implements and directs comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, campaigns, and go-to-market tactics for all brands, including sales tools, retail support, digital and social strategy, OOH, PR, content calendar, strategic partnerships, events, and experiential programs.
He has a deep understanding of the US cannabis market and is proficient in managing several complex projects concurrently.
Ansel owned all sales and marketing responsibilities for 20+ consumer brands at a leading vertically integrated company in the hemp-derived cannabis space.
He created a full line of CBD wellness products, secured a licensing contract for an exclusive CBD beverage line, and secured a multi-brand distribution contract for a premier spirits and wine distributor.
Additionally, Ansel created 20+ proprietary cannabinoid brands from concept to completion and launched 11 brands in multiple retail channels.
He worked closely with the company’s executive leadership (CEO and CFO) to secure over $30M in private investment for the company.
