Wylie scaled a premier cannabis company’s headcount by 10x over 18 months and introduced onboarding and training to establish healthy company culture.
He created an organizational structure, going from 10 stores to 38 and from 2 cultivation centers to 6.
Wylie created a National Training Program that provided onboarding, first-party product trainings, customer service fundamentals, new manager training, monthly training calls and a retail leadership summit.
Wylie was a key member of a top cannabis company’s retail leadership team that drove approximately $860M revenue & 100% YOY revenue growth.
He managed a team of 8–they were responsible for creating and delivering training content across 135 store chains in 18 states with a 2022 run rate of $1B.
Wylie was responsible for integrating past acquisitions, stores, and 2020/21 acquisitions into a cohesive and more consistent fleet with customer experience principles communicated across all stores.
Over the past 6 years, Wylie has built several functions from the ground up at start-up organizations: 16 On Center HR/Talent Acquisition, Talent Acquisition & Development, National Training, and Retail Communication functions.
Wylie also designed the cannabis company’s customer service experience and executed adult-use launches in AZ, IL, MI, and NJ.
Additionally, he spearheaded internal initiative for a filming project–he partnered with Marketing & Brand, Compliance, and HR to execute filming on site.
