CannabizTEMP is seeking hardworking and reliable Cannabis Infused Edible Production Technicians in Kalkaska, MI. The Cannabis Infused Edibles Production Technician plays a pivotal role in the preparation, cooking, and packaging of cannabis-infused edible products for dispensing to patients. The individual in this position is responsible for executing critical tasks to ensure the timely, high-quality, and compliant production of regulated cannabis-infused products, ensuring availability for qualified customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the preparation, cooking, and packaging of all cannabis-infused edible products.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment and work area to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Consistently complete production orders with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records throughout the production process to ensure quality control of regulated products.
  • Demonstrate awareness and adherence to GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and QA regulations.
  • Strictly follow department SOPs and recipes for product consistency.
  • Uphold proper PPE and hygiene practices.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new systems and processes related to edible products.
Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Work in a lab/prep kitchen environment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day) with consistent hand-eye coordination and excellent hand dexterity.
  • Perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and stooping continuously.
  • Lift weights up to 30lbs.
  • Exposure to potential allergens, cleaning solvents, and plant pathogens.
  • Use daily PPE, including masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as required.
  • Work in confined spaces and tolerate loud noises.
  • High School Education or Equivalent.
  • Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm 
Note: While experience in food service, food manufacturing, or general manufacturing is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, and a commitment to maintaining consistency across production volumes. Adaptability and a collaborative team-player mindset are essential qualities for this role.

Payrate: $14-15/hr.
